I use this mainly to check the temperature of my babie’s formula. Outside of the bottle at 111-113 is perfect for her. No more checking the temp on my wrist or the back of my hand means more food in her belly and no more mess.I got this temperature by first checking the temperature on the back of my hand and then checking the temperature of the bottle with the thermometer right away. I did this a few times in the beginning to compare the varying temp readings between 111 and 113. Works perfectly every time.The only thing I would change would be a way to change the default mode of what your checking. Every time you turn the thermometer on it goes to body temperature. Like I said before, I’m checking an object 99% of the time and the delayed time of switching modes annoys me. I am a very impatient person.
