I bought the "burnt orange" (in XL) one for Ren Faire and loved the design so much I picked up the black one (in L) too. I am 5'7" and found the length wonderful (I hate bottoms that don't go below my ankles .grrr). I tried an underskirt as well, and this skirt was gorgeous with it. My only complaint is that the color of the orange is MUCH lighter than the pic. It is a pretty shade, but not the rust shade I was expecting. As a size 12, the large was plenty big and the XL was a bit too big, but I was wearing it with a belt, so no worries.
