My kids are usually 2t, 4/5t, 5/6t. I sized up to 3t, 5t, 7t. Pants worked great for everyone! I may keep just for the adorable pants. I had two issues with the top. First, the green of the tree, doesn't match the pants green, so it looks funny if you are searching for that perfect matching family photo for the holidays. The even bigger issue was size, they were too tight, even as a size up. I could get them on, but it was a deal breaker. So top is too sizes up. which is unfortunate you can't buy as separates. So I'm not sure if I'll keep for the pants or return since tops are too small and don't match well. I'm also not sure if they will shrink yet, I'll update if they do. This would be ideal if you sized up 2x and had a thin tall kid. Mine are thin but short.
