This vest is the real deal. The vest have more than enough weight for running and even body weight exercises (pull / chin ups, dips, push ups) and if padded to prevent discomfort. The looked like it was dragged all the way from the warehouse and then kicked for hrs past 100 yards but the contents were fine. It’s a vest with metal plates . They can be distributed to your liking but a balanced setup is ideal. They are easy to slide in, some have some burring and could have been filed to make it smoother to insert but they are by no means unfinished. I noticed that some slots are still empty even after all weights have been inserted but maybe it’s more than enough weight as it is.
