5'9" (175 cm) 190 lbs (86 kg) athletic build. Size XL is perfect for a light unrestricted fit that is float but not at all baggy or boxy. Large would be more of a tight fight for high intensity activities. XXL would be billowy.The fabric is a very smoothly finished lightweight breathable blend. This will provide almost no insulation, but provides great sun coverage and the wind passes through nicely in hot weather. Dries very quickly.The only way it would be better is if the hood were not so big and loose. Don't expect it to stay up if you're moving about, and certainly not during any sort of activity. It stays up a little better with a ballcap underneath, but otherwise the hood is only useful if you're relaxing in one place. Not a deal breaker for my purposes, but you should be aware.I'd recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin who needs to stay covered while lounging in hot sunny weather.
