Glad I got this set. The material is a faux leather. Seems sturdy though when sitting on them. Totally cute in the space and the amount of weight it holds is perfect. Great place to store my sewing machine when not in use. Great to hold books, blankets and other items when your square footage isn’t large.

- The ottoman set may not be sturdy enough to hold heavier objects or be used as additional seating
