I needed a pair of surgical steel earrings that I could wear while sleeping, after opening a hole not used in years. These are well made, surprisingly well crafted given how tiny they are. My one complaint is that they can be difficult to close by oneself, and might become a pain if you mean to take them on and off. I bought the pink gold pair and they really do look like real gold; they have a very pleasing finish. I would suggest that adults with a good size earlobe, and a piercing not at the edge of the earlobe, buy the largest size, as even these are very small. The 10mm might be good for the top of the ear, or for a child, or maybe a nose ring. All and all, an excellent value.
