White version is perfect, the black was very hard to read
Originally ordered the black version but found the reflective silver hands were nearly unreadable in normal light as there is not enough contrast from various angles. So I got the white version with black hands instead, and it is a great clock and easy to see! So 5 stars for QUIETNESS, large numbers and accuracy, but 5 stars only for the white version for being much more useful at distance.
