It's light, and it did a great job in protecting my head in a spill from my ebike. When avoiding a dog that ran in front of me, my front tire ran off the 3" high left edge of the concrete trail. I was pitched off my bike hard onto the concrete, and among all the parts of my body that hit the pavement, was the side of my head. The helmet did its job and saved me from a concussion and possibly a major skull injury - because my head really hit the pavement hard!
