The pale black marks on the top and inside of the top that some others have noticed on the bags they received, were all over the bag I got also. Yes, I ordered the white one because I wanted to personalize it with light/bright colors for my son, but I was hopeful that mine wouldn't have those marks. They do not wash off.However, if you're interested in personalizing, the material does hold up to some decent heat. I wouldn't say "high" heat (I did bursts of moderate heat), but I managed to add a sublimated print to the top without melting or damaging the material. So if you're looking for a bag that you can print on or add htv, this is a good option.The only thing I don't like is the water bottle holders because the gear in the bag isn't heavy, the water bottles will tip the bag over. Also, they are only big enough for water bottles, but if we take gatorade along, we just pop it in the side zip pocket.One last note. it showed silver zippers in the description. Mine arrived with more faded gold zippers.
