These bulbs are fine. They were easy to install, and work well. They fit tightly into the socket. The bulb assembly is a little larger than the original non-LED bulbs, so it took a little maneuvering to get it into place. Still just a 5 minute job, though.I bought these because I wanted better visibility behind me when backing up in the dark. I expected them to be brighter than my original bulbs (now 9 years old and not LED). However, they do not throw more light. They are definitely a whiter, colder light, but they do not illuminate the area better. In the backup camera night vision, they are actually a little worse in my opinion. Rather than an even coverage of what is behind me, I see streaks of illumination in the camera. I cannot see farther or wider with them.In summary, these work fine and I have had no problems. However, in my opinion, they provide no visible advantage over the original bulbs.
