I discovered tying the belt in the rear creates a band that was more flattering to my waist. I ordered an XL but wished I'd ordered a smaller size. Given the sleeve design and my chest size, the romper appeared oversized. In addition, my butt seemed to disappear. On the other hand, the material feels light and flowy. I would warn that the clap/snap button on the chest is a little flimsy and may be difficult to keep fastened for ladies with larger chests. But nothing a tank can't fix. I wasn't a fan of the crinkly material because it can appear wrinkled (for a better visual of the actual fabric look at image #2 in the ad). Otherwise, this romper is easily appropriate for a variety of occasions and for those who do not mind showing off their legs.
