I bought this because we are new boat owners, and I burn easily. I needed something that will protect my shoulders from the sun as we are out on the water. I first purchased the blue and white one (with stars on it) in a size 2XL, and loved it so much I purchased this one. I purchased this one in a size smaller than the original and this one fit perfectly. I normally wear a 2xl, but in this swimsuit the XL fit snug. Not too bad, but it was tighter than I was use too. I can still wear the 2xl, but the top has built in cups and they were a bit too big for me (which is why I decided to purchase this one in an XL). The cups in the one were perfect. When I say it was snug, the arms were a bit tighter than what I am use to, but for a swimsuit that is understandable as I don't want them to rub or anything. After all, it is rash guard swim wear. I loved the length of the bottoms as well, not too short, but not super long either. Overall, very pleased with the purchase, and may just go back and purchase a few more designs just so I have a choice for each time we have a "Boat Day"!
