The folded scooter (22kg) allows you to carry yourself in one hand up the stairs (underground/overground passages, stairwells/landings, .. ) without a break (for me, lifting to the 3rd floor is not a problem). The steering wheel is high and not adjustable (with a height of 190cm it will ride comfortably). He can only drive around a well-maintained city, and even then, very carefully (a clearance of 7 cm does not allow this, the bottom cover is plastic, and the plastic in the shock absorber instantly breaks and they won’t repair it for you under warranty! ). For a pilot weighing 90 kg (or less), the scooter is suitable. I myself am 87kg + 3kg clothes, total 90kg, I don’t experience any special problems, but the front shock absorber has already come to an end. You can load it with 150 kg, as indicated in the instructions (riding together), but you must understand that such a weight will quickly kill this scooter (at least, the cord inside the tire will be exposed, the shock absorber of the steering rack will be killed, the resource of the motor-wheel and all bearings). Both tires are chambered, inflatable, according to the instructions it is recommended to inflate to 4 atmospheres, but they become oak and unstable to damage, so I recommend inflating 3 atmospheres. On this scooter, changing the rear tire or tube is extremely difficult and time consuming. You can connect via android application "KCQ scooter" via bluetooth and enter a 6-digit anti-theft code: when turned on, the scooter will not go by itself, but it can still be rolled away / carried away manually, can be used when the scooter is in your sight at a distance a few meters (you went to sit on a bench in the park or have a bite to eat in a street cafe outside, and it is very problematic to carry a cable with a combination lock with you - you simply cannot attach it to anything on this scooter). The battery is charged from full discharge to full charge - nine and a half hours. The official Midway warranty in 2022: 6 months for the motor-wheel (but not more than 1500 km), 3 months for the battery and controller, and there is no warranty at all for the mechanical parts of the case.
- Solid battery capacity (as I understand it, about 850 Wh). Relatively inexpensive. Included is a more or less tolerable holder for a smartphone (on the steering wheel). From the factory charge (I believe that there was about 90%) to self-shutdown (full discharge of the battery - on the display "error E5"), I drove 36 km in different speed modes both on the sidewalk and on the roadway, with a payload weight of about 90 kg. A claimed range of 40 km on a single charge is quite realistic if your average speed is no more than 15 km/h and your weight is no more than 80 kg. The scooter is made more or less neatly, the appearance does not cause any particular complaints. Tolerable weight of the scooter - 22 kg. The scooter can be easily folded/unfolded and carried in one hand over short distances. While the new one accelerates quite briskly to 30 km / h (according to GPS), then it is able to very painfully squeeze out of itself a maximum of +10 km / h, but there is no dynamics anymore. In almost all city slides, a pilot weighing 90 kg pulls quite tolerably. The brakes work quite satisfactorily. When connecting a smartphone via bluetooth, it makes it possible to enter a 6-digit code to block the motor from theft (it does not save from real theft, but still better than nothing). The overall price / quality ratio is justified, even despite the large number of minuses (see below).
- The instructions say that the ground clearance (clearance) is 11 cm. This is a blatant lie. The real ground clearance is 8 cm (moreover, there are also semicircular screw heads protruding by 3 mm). This is very modest even in a well-maintained city - of course, you will cling to the bottom, not everything in a row, but a significant number of different ledges. You also need to keep in mind that the bottom cover of the deck is plastic (tangible damage is simply inevitable). Tires are designed for a maximum load of 100kg (100kg is written on the tire rim), but the scooter should not carry a payload of more than 100kg, since +22kg add the weight of the scooter itself, + bumps on bumps on the most loaded wheel, and the front shock absorber has an extremely unreliable design (the plastic sleeve quickly breaks and the front depreciation stops working at all). All this once again confirms my hypothesis that the scooter was designed for a pilot weighing no more than 100 kg, although the instructions say "maximum load - 150 kg". You can also note a rather dim headlight (although, in a more or less lit city, this is tolerable). Hanging any bicycle bag on the handlebars is very problematic (headlight interference, and it’s difficult to fasten it on the left side of the steering wheel). The available 3 speed modes are just a speed limit, they do not affect anything else (you can always use the third "sport" mode and constantly drive at least 5 km / h, at least 35). Its speedometer is a bit on the high side (when the scooter is traveling 30 km/h on the GPS, its speedometer reads 35 km/h). The tires are chambered and changing the cameras yourself is very inconvenient on both wheels (especially on the rear) - you need to unscrew the plastic lining on both sides (using different screwdrivers, having previously peeled off the red reflective stickers) and on both wheels to deal with wiring, in one case the motor- wheels, and in the other - with a drum brake. The 1-year warranty announced by many sellers is a blatant lie (see below).
