I’ve used it a few times already and will start using this as part of my fitness routine as something different to do. It has been a couple of decades since I did a lot of jump rope, but it is kind of like riding a bike, you’ve done it before, you can do it again (well at least I can). So far so good.A couple of drawbacks: Older eyes require bigger print in the small manual. The manual doesn’t provide any guidance on how to connect the pieces in the box, but it can only go together one way when you start to think about it (and amazon does have a picture that leads you to attach the rope the correct way).The provided cable is a little long for me, but the clips provided do make it relatively easy to adjust. I would have liked a heavier rope (cable), but I’ve gotten used to it as is. I expect there is a way to replace it, but it has to go through the handle in order to count accurately.I discovered one issue which is of my own doing – if you don’t stop the timer it keeps going.Overall – good purchase and I look forward to using it more and more. I do wish I had bought it earlier during the pandemic when I stopped going to the local gym.
