I used thus wedge topper on top of my mattress. The elevated side was for my legs. I can't complain about the mattress topper. It actually made me feel better in the bed. Gave some extra support to my mattress. I have deep pocket sheets so I don't have any problem keeping the sheets on my bed. It doesn't slide around during my sleep. I think it has given extra support to me and my mattress. I say that it's not 7 inches in height because it actually looks and feels to be the same height all over. Even after letting it inflate. There are 3 different ways to place this wedge topper and maybe that's why the results are different for everyone. But for me, it feels good to my entire body when sleeping.
