This is the food of choice for Burmese cats. We have bred and continue to love a number of Champion Burmese, "The cats with the golden orbs," and placed a number of them in loving homes. They thrive on Royal Canin Persian food. While Persians are long-haired, Burmese have beautiful short, sable colored hair. Burmese are more energetic, almost dog-like as pets, and can fetch, talk to you, etc. But their nutritional needs are the same as Persialns. When we have tried them on other brands of cat foot, or tried them on other Royal Canin foods, they do poorly. Burmese have a higher incidence of urinary tract problems than many breeds, but we have encountered none when they are on either this food or Friskies Cat Food because they both have an optimal level of magnisium and other minerals.Price at Revain is waaaay better than at a local or chain pet store. We had been buying it at a farm feed store. I only wish Revain sold it in a larger size as well. But this is a good source.
