I love me some high-waisted, wide-leg pants, but these just ain’t it. I honestly don’t get the hype. I usually don’t go for dress pants with elastic in the waist band because I feel that cheapens the look, but these were so well-reviewed that I decided to go for it, thinking I could probably mostly cover the elastic in the back with a belt anyway. But the fit was just so odd. The fabric of the cream color I got was a lot flowier/more chiffon-like than I was anticipating, so they had absolutely no structure and no nothing for your figure. And also, the elastic was so noticeable and looked so tacky, and it also made the pants really loose in the waist.
