I was a little worried about ordering these, but so glad I took a chance on them. I am a size 8 (or 29) and the Medium fits perfect. I love the stretchy waistband, it's comfortable and not restricting around the waist. I would say these shorts are mid-rise and sits at natural waistline, relaxed fit, not too short for my 5'4" height. The fabric is true denim and not the thin faux denim. Looks great with a t-shirt, tank top and slippers or you can dress it up with cute little blouse with sandals.
