Okay, it does look like a rug! The faux sherpa outer shell has that look to it, whether intended or not. I think it's probably more utilitarian but looks count too!The outer shell is faux sherpa. The inner lining is a microfiber and it's very soft and smooth. Should add warmth too as the material is very tightly woven and wind simply is going to have difficulty going through both layers. It has on breast pocket that is just big enough for Mrs. Stone Dog's base-level LG smartphone so an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy probably won't fit. There are big, roomy internal pockets that are unsecured and two belly pockets secured with zippers - these will hold any smartphone out there.It has a heavy-duty, but plastic, zipper that zips all the way up to make a turtleneck collar and the faux sherpa may be a little irritating or scratchy. There's no elastic at cuffs or waist. So, mildly ugly coat that should keep you warm in all but the coldest months of winter and has plenty of pockets.
