Bought these for walking for our trip to DC. After walking on concrete sidewalks for two days while in DC, my feet were tired and the bottom of the shoes wore very quickly. These are light-weight, but seem to wear out fast. I purchased an 8.5 which I usually wear in closed shoes since my feet are wide. These were wide so a size 8 probably would have been better since my feet slid in the shoes while walking. Seemed comfortable at first, but after walking all day, my feet were tired. I guess I stick to the Saloman's that I use for hiking, they wear very well and offer more support for my feet.
