Great quality and the zipper is strong. I purchase the Medium since I am about 31-32" around the stomach area and the size guide recommendation. My friend has a 36" waist so I gave it to her and she loves it(see picture).When I put it on, it felt slightly snug, but not enough, I want it to be tighter so I am going order the small.The smell was not bothersome at all and it goes away so no issues there.Excellent customer service too.Also, I really like this type because it's designed with a zipper only. I previously tried the one that has both the hooks and zipper. The hooks were just way too time consuming! This design of just the zipper is way better and convenient.
