very bright and effective

Adhesion is excellent. I haven't tried to remove it from anything yet, but I think it might leave a residue behind. More importantly, this tape takes very little to "charge". 30 seconds under a lamp or of course sunlight and it's glowing for hours (obviously brighter for longer exposure up to a point of saturation).I think this is a good quality product and does what it's supposed to do well.We just use a little around doors and switches to find them in the dark at night. But anything you want to be able to see without turning lights or during a power outage could be marked.
