You’re also left with exposed wire wherever you end up cutting the rope. But the handle comes with a plastic cap so that’s not as much of a nuance, but the snipping was.b) The rope sits inside a hollow handle. When using, the spin of the rope frequently does not match with the turn of the handle. It is really frustrating when trying to maintain a high heart rate during a workout as it can mess you up.You get what you pay for.
