Holes in the grip area
The design is such that when fully extended there are holes in the grip area of your right hand. Only on the narrowest setting do the move far enough towards center to not be annoying. Returned and just got the fixed version instead as it is a fine paddle otherwise
- The fixed option allows for consistent and reliable paddling
- The paddle may not be suitable for kayaking at night
