Bluetooth connection fails after USB connection (on PC). A USB connection is required to reconfigure the gamepad buttons and ate the firmware. Button A is not ideal of course (it really seems to stick sometimes), but not particularly critical. There is no button to turn off the gamepad, you can turn it off by long pressing the button with the Xbox logo, this is not very convenient, but not a big problem.
