I installed these because I hate bar pins. These lasted all of about one mile. I left my house and travelled through the neighborhood the back way to the local Ace Hardware to pick up some grade 8 bolts for another project. On my exit from Ace, I noticed that the shock, still attached to this mount, was no longer bolted to where it should be. Upon further investigation, I found that the tabs were completely broken off. If it can’t handle a neighborhood mile, I doubt it could handle the stress of even the simplest trail. Tabs were both still held in place by the bolts.
