I've had it for 7 months now. I never tow with it on, maybe it would take highway speeds? If you don't get it tight and water pools anywhere then it leaks. If you don't let a pool form then it's fairly water tight. The 19' size actually fit my 19' runabout boat (Stingray 190LS). The black get so hot in the sun. Wish it was white.
