This product is okay for basic protection from nicks or scratches since it covers everything except the screen. A hard screen protector would work well with this case.But the case itself is not rigid or hard enough to protect from drops. It is a softer material. It does fit around the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 very well though. The material/case doesn't look cheap and is a attractive looking case. Out of all the cases I looked at I chose this one since it cover everything except the screen itself. Other cases that fold like books or include a keyboard offer no protection on the ends of the tablet. The corners and sides are reinforced thicker material that offers protection.
