I stumbled across this listing while looking for thicker coats, but not necessarily winter coats. I really like the softness and color. The pattern isn't symmetrical on the arms, but that is fine with me. I do not recommend replacing a winter coat with this. I'd call this one more of a liner coat for a winter coat. If you had to take out the trash in the winter, this would be fine on its own, but if you were climbing Mt. Everest, pick something else.I ordered my usual size which is fine if you aren't wearing something bulky underneath. If you want to pair this with a sweater or hoodie, size up one.This is more of a side note, but I wish the string in the hood matched the coat better.
