Everyone in our family is extremely happy with the several "gadgets" we already own from this brand, and the humidifier was no exception. Sleep has improved significantly and the humidifier was bought specifically for this reason. It was impossible to breathe because the heating was at its highest setting. We no longer even open the window because the space is so pleasant. I had assumed that a filter would be built into the tank, but it turns out that this was not the case. There is only a cotton filter, which is placed into the humidifier's compartment on the back. This compartment also holds oils, and it may be opened by pressing (I spent a long time trying to figure this out). We purchased two since we are so pleased with the humidifier.
