I've owned variations of these ratchet belts for a few years. They look really nice out of the box for their price point. They are sold as leather belts, but I presume the leather part is mainly a veneer as I've have them crack on the inside over time. I've had COACH leather belts before and the leather is a whole different level of quality. But for the relatively inexpensive price of ten to twenty bucks, these best are a great value. They will wear out in a couple of years, but just buy a new one. :)
