I had a c-section and could not use a regular belly band because I was I so much pain and the belly band would cause even more friction on my incision. They are very supportive in the back as well. Stomach muscle is very loose in the belly after delivering a baby. This help to pull it in and provide support in that area. I can wear this for 12 hours straight every day with no issues.
