I have 2 pairs of these pants, the grey in style 5022 (zip pocket on thigh) and the army green in the other style (no pocket on thigh). They are perfect for hiking, warm and protect from the wind, and very comfortable once you get the size right. BUT the sizing is very random, that’s why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5. My grey pants are a 30 and the fit is snug on the hips and waist but perfect in the thighs/legs. I bought the other style in navy and the 30 was much smaller, I couldn’t get it onto my hips to zip it. So I tried a 32, in army green since the navy was out of stock. The 32 in the new color was a completely different fit and it was too big! I loved the army green color so decided to try it in a 30, and it’s a perfect fit, better than the grey ones I originally purchased because they are a little looser in the hips/waist. So it took me 3 tries to get a second pair of these that fit just right. Also, both pairs of army green that came do not have the yellow lining/zipper on the pockets (and I like them better than what’s pictured).
