The case itself definitely feels as if it would protect the phone, as I've come to expect from Poetic's products. I had two Poetic cases for my previous phone and both were fantastic in terms of durability. I received this case about a week ago and installed the case and screen protector. I will say that the case has some sharp corners, and that makes for a very difficult feel in the hand. I have no doubt that the case would protect my phone if I dropped it, which will definitely happen if I have to move my fingers around to avoid the corners every time I pick up the case.Unfortunately the screen protector suffers from the bubble effect, with the sides not sticking to the display which leaves a strip of air all the way around the edges. The screen protector also has touch sensitivity issues, which I noticed when playing games or typing long messages (like this review).Ultimately I returned this product after about a week of use. I love Poetic and this is the first time I was disappointed in one of their products. I will still keep my eye open to see if there are any changes to this case or if Poetic comes out with any other G7 cases that offer the kind of protection I want.
