This puddle light is awesome if you've got a Tesla. The Tesla-T is prominent but not annoying when it shines on the floor.Installing the projector into the door was pretty straight forward. You have to make sure the little wire does not snap back up into the door by accident, but you'll be able to grab it pliers or a screwdriver if you lose it.You do not have to cut or splice anything - the existing wire plugs directly into the new projector but you'll have to work the plug into the new socket. The new socket was pretty snug but it does fit. I came in at a 45-deg angle to get the plug started into the socket then straightened it up before making full contact.The lense was not adjusted correctly and was actually turned 180 degrees the wrong way on the passenger door. I had to pop the casing apart and rotate the lens correctly. This can be done with a small flathead screwdriver and GENTLY prying off the white/clear case from the black body. You might have to scrape or break away the light glue holding them together around the snap points. Just take your time and you'll get the case apart.After that, you'll able to remove the lens and turn it appropriately and display as you need.I would still purchase another set!
