We have a TON of legos. The problem is trying to keep them clean.I got these bags to put them in the washing machine because hand dusting/ disinfecting every block is insanely time-consuming and I have a bunch of kids. SO, I thought this might work. Good news! It does work. The fine mesh bags held together and no blocks escaped. Legos cleaned, easy in and out. We have a big LG front loading washer. It is noisy. But, better than passing blobs of germ-infested kid slime around on the daily. You can put bleach in the washer along with whatever soap you prefer. Odoban is my favorite alternative to bleach for many types of kid slime. :)If you try this, do NOT put Legos in the dryer! Just let them air dry. No, I did not do this, but I imagine they would melt, warp or stick together. Which means that you'd end up with a clean bag of useless (expensive) plastic.
