First off, these are very high quality and well made containers. But I thought they would be bigger. I should have paid more attention you the measurements in the manufacturer's photos, which are accurate by the way.I got these for my children's breakfast cereal. I was hoping that with the pour spout, my kids would be able to pour their cereal by themselves in the morning. So the advantage is these are small and easy for little hands to grasp.I tried these on new box of Frosted Mini Wheats Little Bites. A little more than half the bag filled up one container. It takes two of these containers to accommodate 1 box of cereal.Also the spout opening was too small for the mini wheats. Even the little bites size ones, which is the smallest size they come on. They didn't really pour like I envisioned. They all just got stuck. But the spout works great for just about any other pelleted or flaked cereal. We will use these containers for Honey Nut Cheerios and Lucky Charms. Just bummed they didn't work for mini wheats, but oh well.Very nice containers. Small but quality.
