We’ve had an old Costco bed for awhile, you know the one… just stuffed with a bunch of cheap poly fill causing pressure points that your dog constantly tries to flatten out by pawing at the bed… As my aging pibble struggles with cancer and arthritis, he deserves something better.While it took longer than expected to fully "inflate” I will agree with the dimensions listed for the jumbo plus. I could have gone with something smaller, but I like that this was twice as thick as the jumbo.It took Charlie a bit to realize the benefit of the side bolsters. Again, never having those on those cheap Costco/ big box beds, he just hung his head off the edge of the bed.You can see in the picture how content he is. His bed isn’t a rats nest from trying to level out polyfill, and the bolster supports him nicely.While my dog is not a chewer, this bed would not hold up to more than a few seconds with a dedicated chewer. It’s just simple fabric and foam that any dog could destroy in about 3 minutes.Not sure why they want me to comment on its water resistance… it doesn’t have any, hence the numerous blankets I layer over the bed to keep it clean. I tried the crib sheet method with this one, but the jumbo plus is just too big for a crib sheet.Haven’t had to clean it yet, but I’ve already completely taken it apart and it’s WAY better than those poly filled garbage beds. The cover is super easy to get on and off. And, I like that they added a little zipper pocket so your floors don’t get messed up.I was all set to send this back and leave a poor review when I was waiting for it to unpack. Just be patient. Charlie’s bed took over 2 hours to fully "inflate” to the advertised size.I wish they made this thickness in a smaller overall footprint. The jumbo WxH would have been perfect for Charlie. But at nearly 94 pounds, I felt he really needed the extra support.As for the price… it’s fair. Especially when compared to those old polyfilled pieces of garbage. That said… I think this bed could stand about a $15-20 price cut.Word to the seller… make a jumbo size the same thickness as the jumbo plus, and you’d have a 5-star overall bed right there…
