It is a high-quality piece of metal. Feels incredibly solid and sturdy. Due to the way the button works, there's a good chance you're gonna have to make some accommodations to get it to function properly. On my gear selector, the button couldn't be pressed down far enough to allow gear shifts, so I had to had a quarter underneath the button. Basically, I push the button, which pushes a quarter, which pushes the gear selector shaft, thus, allowing me to shift gears.Keep the Allan Key handy, I noticed after some use, it can get a bit wobbly so you'll want to tighten it up every once and a while.
