Like many, I did TONS of online research because buying a couch without sitting on it is risky for sure. BUT, I am quite happy with our purchase.1) we have a narrow stairwell to this basement, so our option were limited to modular-type sectionals2) because of that, we really benefited from this model's need for full assembly. This unit came in 6 boxed, delivered on 2 separate days, about 4 days apart. This is made clear by the seller that they come in this manner. Assembly was quite easy3) it is quite comfortable, somewhat firm cushions but easy to relax into.4) as you will see in the video, and as others have noted, it is NOT super sturdy --- but, it isnt bad at all and if I wanted I could further secure it by DIY method --- but then it would kind of lose it's ability to be re-arranged easily. But the slight wobble isn't that much and for the cost and self-assembly, isn't surprising either5) I would buy this unit again now that it is here, and would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to others looking for a couch in this category and in this price range. Costlier brands exist well over $2000.6) each seat is a storage unit (which is cool, but probably overkill), and each ottoman is easily attached and/or moved in any set-up
