These snapped & have remained in placed since the day I installed them in the car. I personally live the fact that I can easily double them up so I can hang items from the front and back of the seat at the same time. I gifted a set to my daughter who’s a college student working Grub Hub during off hours. She hangs the to-go orders on them so everything remains up right in their bags. I use them to hang my purse on while driving for perfect access to everything inside it. For the price you can’t beat these very helpful and beneficial item for yourself & your ride.Oooo.I forgot that it worked great in my backseat to hang my wet umbrella up to drip dry.
