I think in looking for a gel pack most people want one that remains cold longer and doesn't get all wet on the outside while using. The TrekProof gel bags (2 in order) meet both requirements. It was still cold after an hour of use and remained dry. The bags are made out of a heavier material than other gel bags I have owned and they are stitched all around. They are usable after only an hour in the freezer, and although mine were in for a longer amount of time they were immediately usable for wrapping around my foot that has plantar fasciitis. The size I ordered is about 5X10 inches and has rounded corners. It is perfect for my purpose. I place it into an old multi-purpose ice/heat wrap that I already own, in which it fits perfectly. I have only owned these for a short while so I can't speak to the durability over a long period of time. However these are similar to others I had many years ago and never could find again. They lasted for years and I hope these will too.
