Bought this as an upgrade to my Time More C2 as I am eyeballing a Flair espresso manual machine. Jaw dropping improvement in uniformity of grind. Quick guess gave espresso grind for Alan Adler's latte recipe, pour over for the aeropress funnel and 4 cup filter trick ( take that Chemex! ), and a coarse grind for an interesting Cafe phin drip. Ten minutes out of the box and you can safely assume I ain't no coffee expert. Just a seeker. Espresso people on Facebook groups and other forums stress putting money into your grinder before a machine. This grinder, a fresh roast, and an aeropress will let you enjoy incredible coffee. I haven't pulled espresso since the 90's. Can't wait for my Flair to arrive. Off to pull a moka. Just get this. The ergonomics are a bit spartan. The catch cup requires some care. The KPlus will be better for anyone who doesn't need the 8.8 micron steps. I am glad I got this. Make your world a happier place with an IZpresso. The JMAX is my pick.
