For the price, these work OK, but the female connectors do require special "stepped" hose washers. I have found that they leak with standard washers or improperly installed "stepped" washers. The ones installed on them are good but some may fall out during shipping/handling. The special washers should be installed in the female quick-connector with the stepped side of the washer facing out as shown in the picture. My biggest complaint is that the 'spare' washers they include are NOT the special type and will probably leak when used with these connectors. If they had included the correct spare washers I would have given these connectors 5 stars.
