I don't write reviews often but I wanted to warn others who are looking into buying these. They 'do' work beautifully and have good sound. I gave them the three stars for that. However, they hurt my ear horribly. I have used sleep headphones for years and my last pair the ear pad was very wide and VERY flat. You could not even feel them when you lay on them. These are NOT flat at all. They are about a quarter inch thick and pretty small. Every morning I wake up with a terrible ear pain from the pressure of the pads on my ear. I am just going to toss them since I can't really use them. I wanted to warn others though that the headphones in the band are not flat. They are small, about a quarter inch thick and pretty hard.
