This dress is super cute but, really, only with a waist belt - otherwise you just look like you put on a plaid potato sack. I'm 5'10 and the dress is definitely short enough in the front that I don't feel comfortable wearing it without tights/leggings but looks great with it - kind of like a slightly longer tunic look. I would definitely be flashing my undies at some point if I didn't wear the leggings. I wish it didn't have the pockets - they serve no purpose and just get mostly covered by the belt I put on but it's not a deal breaker. I wear ladies xxl normally in t-shirts and that is what I bought here and the fit is perfect. I am not the bustiest of ladies but there's definitely room for more up top if that's what you've got. Sleeves were perfect length too, though I think the dress looks best if you fold them up to your elbows, making it a 3/4 sleeve. Overall I am impressed with this shirt dress. Quality seems good (typical flannel material) and no stray threads of missing buttons. If they had this dress in anything other than plaid I would definitely purchase again. I just can't justify more than one plaid dress. I'm not a lumberjack/lumberjack's wife.
