My cats' litter box is inside my bathroom vanity. The access to get to the litter box is a small rectangular cutout in the side of the vanity facing the bathtub. The cats were getting litter on the floor and in the bathtub, as they kicked it around in the litter box or it hitchhiked out of the vanity on their paws. I got this mat and draped it over the side of the tub where the cutout in the vanity was. This mat catches the bits of litter that make their way outside the box and gives the cats traction when they jump up on the side of the tub to enter the vanity. Periodically, I either vacuum the mat or dump the trapped litter into a wastebasket. Pretty cool idea, and supports my innovative litter box location very well.
