My 5-year-old daughter has waist-length blond hair and I've received at least a half-dozen lice exposure notices from her preschool/elementary school in the last 18 months. The shampoo does a great job of cleaning her hair (we use it in combination with the lice repel leave-in conditioner), and my daughter has yet to bring home lice from any of her classmates (knock on wood!). The bottle also lasted about 8 months, which is great, especially considering how much hair my daughter has to shampoo.
