I am approx 5'0" and 115lb, I purchased a medium. Lengthwise fit me as a midi-maxi length, the inner skirt was about 2 inches above my knee. I like the elastic in the waistband and drape of the fabric. The only annoyance is that the material is satin-y, so you actually have to fully knot the skirt or safety pin it to stay in place. Otherwise, wore it to a black-tie optional wedding and I felt great!
